We use a commercially available tracking system, Classroom Monitor, to support our tracking of children's progress and attainment. Teachers up-date the system at least once every half term with current assessment information and it is used during Pupil Progress Meetings. These meetings take place 5 times a year between the Assistant Head, Intervention Co-ordinator and each class teacher, during which the progress and attainment of each child in Maths and English is discussed. This allows prompt action if we feel that a child is not meeting their full potential.
This summarises our systems of assessment and tracking in the school:
We are also starting to use Classroom Monitor to support our assessment and tracking in other curriculum subjects beyond English and Maths
