Swimming Gala 8th March
Last week 27 children from years 3,4,5 and 6 took part in the Trowbridge Small Schools Swimming Gala at Clarendon school. We came fourth overall, a great result for our first time of taking part.

There were 34 races of which Keevil had two third place finishes, five second place finishes and six first place finishes.

Well done to Henry Steel, Georgia Crawford, Monty Joyce, Emily Sears and Amelia Tanner for winning their individual races and also to the Year 5 and 6 girls for winning their relay. Some fantastic swimming Keevil! Well done to all our swimmers!

Pencelli 26th February - 2nd March
Autumn Class had a great time on their residential trip to Plas Pencelli in the Brecon Beacons.  Sadly it was cut short by the show, but all the children were able to enjoy two challenging activities from canoeing, caving and climbing.  Plus everyone took part in the infamous Dingle Descent night hike!

Autumn Class had a fantastic trip to the Bath Taps Into Science fair at Bath University.  They explored the stands and exhibits that had been set up by students, including some of our old pupils!

Houses of Parliament 21st March
We were very lucky to welcome in someone from the education department of the Houses of Parliament.  She ran an assembly for Summer and Autumn classes, and then two in-depth workshops for Autumn Class, teaching them about democracy and government in the UK.
