Year 5/6 Boys Rounders Event

The year 5 and 6 boys took part in a rounders event at Heytesbury School, Warminster. The event, for all Acorn schools, was run by the Kingdown School Sports Ambassadors.

The children took part in lots of different rounders related activities in mixed  groups with all the other schools in our trust. Following this, they then all went back into their school groups and played a game of rounders against a different school. We played against Great Wishford and won!

Well done to all the boys who took part in the event.

Scarecrow Trail Success 19th & 20th May

The school's annual Scarecrow Trail, run by our PTA, Friends of Keevil School (FOKS), took place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May. This year's theme was 'A Royal Celebration' to tie in with the Royal Wedding weekend!

The event was a great success, with families coming from far and wide to enjoy the scarecrows and take part in the trail. There was a bar, BBQ, teas and cakes, wraps, crepes, a tombola and games stall for people to enjoy after completing the trail.

Thank you to everyone who came along for the weekend and helped raise funds for the school. The money raised will enable to children to going on trips, have visitors come in and buy additional classroom resources to enrich their school experience.
