November 2022

23rd November 2022
At Keevil our ethos is based on the story of the Good Samaritan. We are defined by the quote “Always treat others as you would like to be treated” Matthew 7:12.

This is at the heart of everything we do in school. And WOW! Our wonderful families have proven that once again. This is the amazing collection of donations we’ve had in school for our RUKSAK 45218 appeal.

These will be given to the charity who will gift them to children in need in Wiltshire. A big thank you to those who donated and thank you for loving your neighbour as yourself.
Each class has been busy making Christmas tree decorations so that Keevil Academy could take part in St James’ Christmas Tree Festival.  Ho ho ho.
Wow what a fantastic effort went to for Children in Need 2022. You all helped to raise a total of £270 through your donations and the wonderful cake sale we had in school. Below is the winners of the cake competition, not forgetting a big well done to Nanny McAninch for winning the adult category.
This month we launched our Book Swap Library, open for the whole school and village community.

It’s just the weather to curl up with a good book ☔️! Our book swap is accessible at all times and full of books for you to chose and enjoy
At the beginning of November we opened our doors to welcome new 2023 school starters to come and have a look around Keevil School and meet our friendly family. There was lots to explore and fun was had.

“If everyone knew about our school, all the other schools would be empty.”
