Spring Class had a fantastic trip out to the SS Great Britain finding our more about I.K.Brunel and his great engineering to support their history learning of transport through time. A big thank you to our parent helpers. “Aye aye captain”

It was great to see so many faces today at Stay and Learn, there was a variety of things going on from painting and drawing to a World War Two history quiz. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to pop by. Meanwhile our youngest school members were out exploring the Egg theatre on their first ever school trip.

We have poppies in school which the year 6 children will be selling the week of 6th November-10th November. There are a variety of things available for the children to opt from this year. We would recommend a ‘small donation’ for the paper poppies and a suggestion of £1 each for the slightly larger, more luxurious items. If the children opt for a snap band we will be asking them to take them home to play with at the end of the day.

Well done to our top individual house point earners from each year group. We are really proud of you all for all the effort you put into school life.

Don’t forget about our book swap library for students, parents and villagers! Lots of books ready and waiting to be read
